The EndoSure Test is a groundbreaking, non-invasive diagnostic tool that offers remarkable accuracy in detecting endometriosis. Designed to equip healthcare professionals with critical data, it facilitates the swift diagnosis of this condition. The entire testing process is efficiently completed in under an hour, with the potential for results to be delivered within days.
Similar in how it works to an ECG, the EndoSure Test, rather than measuring the heart’s electrical activity, focuses on identifying a distinctive pattern of activity within the abdominal area. This is indicative of the presence of endometriosis tissue. This innovative approach ensures a seamless and expedient experience for patients.
During the clinical trials the test was found to have 100% in agreement with surgical findings.
Subsequently the test is proving to be very accurate in first time diagnosis and post operative patients.
The EndoSure Test was introduced in 2023, however the basis of this scientific discovery was first reported in 1998 by John Mathias, when it was identified that endometrial tissue secretes a substance that causes an irregular reaction in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The EndoSure Test identifies this biomarker by analysing the myoelectrical activity of the GI tract.

You made a really welcoming and comfortable environment. I felt very heard by you and it was clear you have a genuine care for people with reproductive health concerns especially as you went out of your way to help me get an appointment when I had such limited availability. The test was much more comfortable than I expected it to be and although it is obviously a medical test, it wasn’t the same clinical and uncomfortable experience that most diagnostic tests are. Receiving the diagnosis was hard, but it was delivered in a sensitive way and you checked in with me to make sure I was ok - that was hugely appreciated. The way this was all handled, from the very first email, was completely faultless.

I just wanted to start off by thank you so much for the amazing service I received, not only when I attended my appointment but throughout! From start to finish you were so kind and caring, extremely professional and just made the entire experience so relaxing and stress free. Thank you so much for all of your help leading up to the appointment, during the appointment and even after too! I’d recommend your clinic to anyone that I know who may need it! Again, such great service and I thank you so much!

I attended the New Milton clinic for my Endosure test with Jill. My experience with Jill from the point I first reached out via email was flawless and so smooth. Her communication was quick and helpful, she explained everything - from the ins and outs about the test itself, its efficacy and the practical details of the clinic location and what to expect. The test itself was stress free, pain free and actually relaxing. I received a verbal positive result from Jill a few minutes after the test was complete. I highly recommend this test to anyone who like me, needs some confirmed answers to what you already suspect is going on with your body. I look forward to following the news with the Endosure test as it becomes more well known in the UK.

I recently had my endosure test completed, and I’m so glad I did! I met the lovely Jill at the new forest clinic who straight away made me feel at ease with her kind and empathetic nature. After being misdiagnosed by an NHS laparoscopy, I was apprehensive about the results of the test but Jill made me feel heard and reassured me that I wasn’t crazy! I would definitely recommend this test to anyone thinking about it, it was quick, easy and pain free!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the team at the new diagnostic clinic for endometriosis after suffering for several years with this condition. It has been incredible to witness the dedication and research that has gone into developing their new, non-invasive diagnostic tool. This innovation is a significant advancement for those of us with endometriosis, offering a much-needed, less intrusive option for diagnosis

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. From the very first enquiry, I’ve felt genuinely supported and cared for. After what has felt like an endless journey of GP appointments and being passed between professionals without clarity, finally receiving the answers I needed through yourselves has brought such relief. Your support has made all the difference, and I truly can’t thank you enough.

Upon arrival at the clinic the technician will attach three electrodes to your stomach, its recommend to use this time to visit the bathroom.
A 10 minute pre-recording will be performed to attain your baseline reading.
Drink enough water to feel full, this helps the accuracy of the endosure test.
The test will take approximately 50 minutes, just relax and have a lie down. After the test is complete the technician will collate the information and give an indication of the result. These are then sent to our referring clinician who will review them and then provide a written results letter.

For follow on care from our Associated Gynaecologist after your Endosure Test, please contact the clinic for pricing and availability.
The Endosure test is a non-Invasive clinical decision support tool that uses myoelectrical data that comes from an Electroviscerogram (EVG). It is a simple non-invasive, painless procedure performed by utilising topical electrode pads similar to those used in an electrocardiogram (ECG). The EndoSure Test analyses the myoelectrical activity of the smooth muscle in the abdomen from the EVG. The data is analysed and compared to the known myoelectric digital fingerprint uniquely associated with endometriosis and adenomyosis.1
During the clinical trials the test was found to have 100% concordance with surgical findings.
Subsequently the test is proving to be very accurate in first time diagnosis and post operative patients.
Prior to arriving to the clinic for the test you will need to fast from food for 8 hours. Sips of water can be had upto 2 hours prior to the test. There is a requirement to manage some medications. This information will be shared with you at your first point of contact with the clinic.
No. The practitioner will need to affix the electrode pads just above your belly button (umbilicus), so your upper garment will be lifted exposing the abdominal area up to the rib cage and covered up again for the remainder of the test. It is recommended that comfortable clothing is worn.
The test itself is completed within 60 mins. Before the test there is a short patient preparation time.
The data is available as soon as the test is completed which is then analysed and your diagnosis will be available as soon as your physician can conduct the review, in many cases this will be the same day.
